RADAR are celebrating Walk to School Week on 15th – 19th May. Walking is a great low-impact exercise, ideal for all ages, regardless of fitness level. Walking regularly has so many benefits such as higher energy levels, reduced stress levels and an improved feeling of well being.
Lots of children live on farms, many of us live near farms or visit farms during the year. Farms can be exciting places, but they can also be dangerous, if you don’t know how to stay safe. At RADAR we understand the importance of developing ways to identify dangers on the farm and our Farm Safety tour helps Key Stage 2 students to stay safe on farms. We know that the risk increases with the summer holidays when children are off school and spend more time outside.
RADAR are celebrating Bike Week from 11th – 19th June. Cycling is a fantastic form of exercise, perfect for all ages, regardless of fitness ability. Cycling to work or school has so many benefits such as saving you money, burning calories and saving the planet!
